We have been passed a statement that was made apparently in July by Stephen Harding regarding his questionable licence.
He in this statement has made claims that the Licencing Authority the RSA just decided to drop a years restriction for him because he asked. As we all are aware the RSA at the time had just implemented strict guidelines regarding licencing and the Mr Harding's claims that they just decided to allow him to not complete his training and his restriction period are extremely interesting.
It is Mr Harding's claims that the RSA just issued him a licence are just quite frankly unbelievable.
It is also quite unbelievable that Mr Pat McCabe once again comes to Stephen Harding's defence
by stating "Well said Stevo, disgraceful raising a personal issue like that in a public setting".
We believe that it is in the public's best interest to know that M Harding was allowed to ride around on a Blood Bike East's official emergency vehicles while not qualified to do so. Even more frightening that it appears that Pat McCabe not only allowed him to do so but came to his defence when Mr Harding was questioned on the matter. Also huge questions lie over what was the role of Garda Alan Crummey and Garda Brendan Nolan in this episode.
Becky Blight from Blood Bike West claims that Stephen Harding was insured to use official vehicles and we would suggest that she clarify this matter with the relevant insurance companies.
